Totally Can't Believe I am writing about this...

So, I have been online for many years now. Sure, like a lot of people I would like to find a way to make some serious money - without working too hard at it. LOL. So call me lazy...

Anyway, this friend of mine in Florida called me with an "at home opportunity." I put him off of course because I don't know anyone who has REALLY made money in their MLMs, jewelry business, tupperware, travel, blah blah blah...you know, all the stay at home money making opportunities that are a JOKE (don't get me started here).

OK, back to Cal (my friend in Florida)...he was calling me about every day and I was getting annoyed until he mentioned that I could sign up for this Zeek Rewards thing for free. Well, that made me perk up because 2 things would happen: I could get him off my back AND I wouldn't be the "bad guy" by telling him to stop hasselling me.

Fast forward...3 months: I am making money. It's so incredibly simple and a wonderfully legitimate internet business.

So, as someone who never believes in all that crap about making money online, here I am actually blogging about it. I crack myself up. Anyway, it did take me a while to understand the program but I tell you what: You see it growing and it makes you want to learn real fast.

How to Save on Back-to-School Shopping

Saving on back-to-school shopping lists is what most parents are trying to do when the lists can seem endless. 48% of parents plan to spend $250 or more this year compared with the 56% last year. Here is a guide to spending less:
1.    Make a list & check twice - First you should make a master list of all the back-to-school "musty-buys," then keep a lookout for any deals or promotions that might apply. Starting early can give parents extra flexibility to wait for discounts and look through the weekly circulars.
2.    Make saving "cool" - The most expensive item on back-to-school lists is kids' clothing. Purchasing designer labels and name-brand clothing in preparation for the school year, is what 6 in 10 parents say they will do. Instead, you should browse magazines with your child/children and pick out together a trend to recreate at home. Visiting consignment stores is another affordable option.
3.    Skip cosmetic work - 4 in 10 parents according to the American Express Spending & Saving Tracker plan to splurge on cosmetic/beauty products, including haircuts, teeth whitening, and manicures.
4.    Shop discounts - Most stores of all kind offer their best deals at this time of year which explains their popularity. According to Accenture's survey, 9 in 10 parents will shop at discount or mass merchandize stores.
5.    Make trade-offs - 53% of parents say they will dine out less and spend less on themselves, including their own entertainment (39%) and clothes (37%) to help offset the cost of big-ticket items. Reports American Express Spending & Saving Tracker.
6.    Rent books - BookRenter.com lets you rent books and not purchase. The website lets students to rent textbooks for up to 80% off the retail price. 44% of consumers plan to buy books as part of their back-to-school shopping this year.
7.    Spend time on gadget research - About 1 in 4 parents plan to buy a computer, cell phone, or other gadget for their child/children this year. Printers, scientific calculators, and cell phones are also on the back-to-school lists for some parents. You can save by comparison shopping on site such as Pricegrabber and Dealnews.com
8.    Pay attention to details - Pens, papers and notebooks are by far the most popular items on shopping lists. They tend to be the cheapest but can quickly add up. Retailers often offer amazing deals on these smaller items in hopes that they'll also buy bigger ones.

Sioux Falls Cars

Wow there are a ton of places to find cars in Sioux Falls. I must say, my personal favorite is the Toyota Dealership and Billion Automotive. The best part is I can find a car I like ONLINE and then decide if I want to go see it in person. Time saver, that's for sure. For someone who is a car enthusiast that hides behind their computer most days, I am loving it!

Facelifts Explained

The rhytidectomy, or much more commonly known as a facelift, is a cosmetic surgery specifically designed to restore a more youthful appearance by removing major obvious wrinkles and sagging skin from the facial area.  The procedure involves tightening of the facial and neck muscles, as well as actual removal of any excess skin.  In doing so the patient should find his or her appearance to be several years more youthful than before. In some good cases, a patient may look as many as ten years younger!

The skin naturally begins to wrinkle and sag as a result of age, sun exposure, and genetics.  Children and young adults have smooth, round faces due to evenly distributed tissues in facial contours.  Over time, the skin sags and folds.  This is particularly occurs around the chin, jaw line, and neck.  Not only does a facelift improve facial appearance but also has a dramatic effect on the chin and neck, enhancing the patient’s profile.  Though as dramatic as the end results are, unlike several other types of cosmetic surgery, a facelift is not a simple procedure, and requires anywhere from one to two weeks of rest to make a full recovery.

This is a procedure that does actually demand some work from the patient beforehand.  Before going in, avoid drugs that contain aspirin for several weeks prior to surgery to minimize excess bleeding.  You may be required to take antibiotics to prevent infection. Depending on the doctor, you may be instructed to shampoo your hair the night before surgery.

For the procedure the surgeon will make incisions inside the hairline at the temple, then around the earlobe and behind the ear, ending at the scalp area.  Excess skin is removed and sagging muscles and connective tissues are tightened.  In some cases, fatty deposits may be removed from beneath the chin and neck.  Incisions are closed with small sutures.  The surgery may take up to 5 hours, depending on how many other facial procedures are being done in conjunction with the facelift.

There will be a lot of swelling afterwards, but after about two weeks the patient should notice a steady recovery beginning.  Scarring fades quickly.  In the time following surgery the patient should avoid the sun for several weeks after surgery.  The main thing to remember is that the healing process takes time.  It is gradual, and so the final results may not be noticeable for even half a year.  Keep patient, and soon enough the positive results will become clear.
